Information for Spirithawk Stud Services: $2,900 for each boy. Contact us for Frozen Semen that is shipped, we have Reduced Prices. All stud services must be paid at the time of the first breeding. Sirius Reproductive Services are located 15 minutes from us which houses our frozen semen. So if you bring your bitch to Grass Valley, you would save shipping charges.

Fresh Side by Side or sometimes a Natural Breeding: Which I do myself.

Girls can come to us after they have gone over a 5.0 Progesterone reading. We do not board the girls. Even if we ship, the numbers or the progesterone should reach over a 5.0 which usually means the bitch has ovulated and is ready two, three or four days post ovulation. Three days post ovulation seems the best day for conception.

Fresh Chilled:

The bitch owner is responsible for all shipping charges, and can be pre-paid with either a credit card or a FedEx account number. The bitch owner is also responsible for providing or purchasing shipping boxes and extenders. Bitch owners are responsible for all costs in collecting and sending semen if needed. But we do most of our collecting and sending. We do our own inseminating when possible which will save you money, but we have had to use ICSB (Sirius) reproduction services on occasion which might add to the cost of the service fee.

Frozen Semen Available: We discount frozen semen

If you are interested in frozen semen please contact me for details. Frozen is $1,000 or depending on circumstances, as we know it is more expensive to ship and inseminate we may work out another arrangement. No repeat breedings from frozen deceased boys, but if the sire is living you can use fresh or chilled semen. We recommend you send for the frozen ahead of time so when bitch comes into season and the progesterone is just right, you have it at your finger tips. Our boys are available to approved bitches which meet the following criteria:

All of our boys and girls have had the following health clearances;  OFA  Hips and Elbow clearances, Echo Heart, Optigen PRA,  Cerf , EIC, HNPK, Copper Toxosis, plus DNA panels for other clearances,  and also have superb temperaments. We require at least the basic minimal testing from the girls, OFA Hips/Elbows, PRA, Eyes, Heart Echo, EIC, Copper T. They also have to have a current neg. bruccelosois test if brought on our property. In some cases we may require the Copper Toxosis, depending on what boy is chosen for breeding.
